When does the SALE start and Finish?
Starts 13/11/24 and Ends 02/12/24.
How long will it take my order to arrive?
Expect delays. This way you might be pleasantly surprised when you get it! Usually, due to the number of orders that usually come through during this time and the pressure on the Australia Post network during one of the busiest times of the year will result in delays.
On top of this we have over 100 retail outlets to send stock to. Yeah, I know… we’re going to be super busy! But we love it! We don’t really love when people send abusive emails demanding to know where their thongs are. So don’t be that person… Keep an eye on your email inbox (check spam and junk folders too) as we often send regular updates and once your order has shipped, you will receive the tracking link and notifications.
Boomerangz can guarantee 100% that we will not run off with your money and fly to Bali to sip on Bintang’s while you’re standing there barefoot or wearing your crappy old thongs!!

I paid for express – why haven’t I received my order?
Please refer to the above questions and answer. We know if you pay extra for express shipping, you expect it delivered yesterday. All packages are sent out in the same order we receive them. First order in, first order sent. This is not always guaranteed every time as we might be waiting on the delivery of some stock. Express just means that WHEN your order is shipped, it will be faster through the Australia Post network. It doesn't mean you get to jump the queue of orders being dispatched.
What is on sale?
Pretty much everything. Sale prices vary from 10% off up to 70% off. Prices can change without notice during the sale. If you see something you like – grab it!
My discount code isn’t working – what’s the go?
All discount codes are deactivated during the sale. They will be reactivated when the sale is complete.
Can I get a refund or return a ‘clearance item’?
Unfortunately not, sorry. We can’t do this for you as some prices are set according to availability. No refunds or returns on sale items. Friends and family can be a good option to pay it forward to or some customers will add the items to their Christmas shopping haul.
I have a question – When will someone get back to me?

International Orders
I haven't received my order?! Where is it??
Keep an eye on your tracking notifications. Some emails can end up in your spam or junk folders.
The tracking link we supply you is for the Australian Postal service. Once the package leaves Australia it changes over to your countries domestic postal service. For example; Deutsche Post in Germany, Royal Mail in the UK, PHL Post in the Philippines etc.
The same tracking number can be entered into the website of your domestic postal service tracking finder to locate your package and the journey.
Please note: If packages do not get picked up from the recipients post office (if delivery to your shipping address provided fails) and the package gets sent back to us, there is an additional postage fee if we have to send it to you a second time.
Second send postage costs = $30 AUD or more for multiple items.
International freight is expensive for us and we cover a lot of the shipping cost for you and only charge you a small portion.
Boomerangz is not responsible for the notifications (or lack of) from your local postal service or if you don't get to the post office in time, don't receive any notifications or simply forget to pick it up. This is completely out of our control. Please pay close attention to tracking and delivery dates and reach out to us if you need assistance.

I had a blowout! WTF?!?! You said they wouldn’t break!
What should I do if the boomerang plug snaps off?
Now this is a disaster!!! But... No, sorry... We do not claim that the bases or straps are indestructible. They are made from a rubber mix and will wear out over time and can break. The boomerang plugs have been designed to pull through instead of snapping off. Allowing you to push it back in if you get ‘un-plugged’.
If your strap does break (or your dog chews them), take a photo and send it to us and we’ll send you a code to get a new pair of FREE straps!! That’s our 'no blow-out' guarantee! Please note: We can only replace straps within Australia. Ie; Send replacements to an Australian address and while the straps are free, there is a postage cost.
Why do the women’s only go to a size 10/11?
The bases are UNISEX and there isn’t any difference in width once they get up to a size 10/11 and beyond. Slim straps will fit the regular base up to a size 10/11 and vice versa (see below - next question).
If you need larger than a slim size 10/11, we recommend the regular 12. We can customise some diamante' straps for you if you want a bit of 'bling'.
Can the slim straps fit the regular bases and vice versa?
They sure can!
All our thongs actually say ‘unisex’ on the heel. So don’t be embarrassed if you’re not buying them from the ‘Men's’ or ‘Women's’ categories on the website.
Slim straps can be put in to the regular bases and regular straps can be put in to the slim bases. It will change the fitment though!
Custom Fit
Every foot is different - Our innovative design allows you to customise your fitment to perfection!
If you have wide feet and find the straps are a little tight but the length is correct. You can always go up a size in the straps ONLY. Same goes for narrow feet. If they feel too loose… go the next size down in straps. This will change the fitment so you might need to try them out. We’re more than happy to help with this when you order.
My thongs shrunk a little?! Is it OK to leave them in direct sunlight?
Prolonged exposure to the extreme heat we have here in Australia can cause them to shrink a little or warp. Over time you may find that the bases are a little smaller than when you first started wearing them.
If they do shrink, keep them out of the heat and they should go back to normal. Some pairs have been known to warp in extreme cases.
What do I do if my strap pulls through?
One of the features of our product is that the plugs have been designed to fit through the base at a certain angle. If the strap and base come apart with force, ideally the strap will pull through and not snap off. This way, it is fixable and you don’t have to walk around with one thong on. Simply push the long arm of the boomerang plug through first and replace the strap into the base. Walk on my friend… Walk on!
The Boomerangz plugs aren't sitting in their cavity properly - What should I do?
Sometimes the rubber material of the Boomerangz plugs can bend and want to poke out of the cavity they should be sitting in on the bottom sole. Here are a couple of options that can help:
1) Put a tiny bit of glue or double sided tape in the cavity to keep the arm of the boomerang stuck to the base. You should still be able to pull it out and change the straps.
2) Fold the Boomerang arms over and put them in to the hole so they are bent downwards (in the direction of the cavity). Leave them like this for a little while, overnight for example… When you take them out they should want to bend that way and will now stay in their cavity!
How do I use the printable sizing chart?
- Click on the link of your desired size on the sizing chart page or size chart tab of the individual product pages
- The PDF will open in a new window
- Click FILE then click PRINT
- Make sure PAGE SCALING is set to NONE
- Place your foot in the outline to see if that is your correct size
Although the bases may vary a few millimetres it is best to measure your foot or an old pair from the centre of the heel to the top of your big toe.
Please always check your size before ordering as you will incur postage fees should you need to swap for a different size.
The size range is based on the Men’s US size range. Although they are labelled unisex – This means that if you are ordering a ladies slim style and you are normally a 9, you will need to order a 7/8 instead. If you are normally a 7/8, you will need to order a 6 and so on… best to measure your foot and use the sizing charts provided.
What happens if I order the wrong size?
You idiot!!! Naaahh… just jokes! This happens from time to time. Just keep them in mint condition and send them back to us. Here is the info for size swaps, returns, refunds etc.
What if I don’t like the colour when I receive the product?
The product images on the website are accurate to the actual colours but they might vary depending on the resolution of your computer screen or phone settings. If you don’t like the colour we can swap them over for you. Here is the info for size swaps, returns, refunds etc.
Will I get a blister?
Hmmmm… you might get a blister. I got a blister once from the strap rubbing on my foot in a different spot that my skin wasn’t used to. Stupid soft beautiful skin! I soon toughened up though and no more blisters! But it’s not the end of the world, we recommend a band aid over the blister but the thongs shouldn't take long to wear in!
What is the meaning of life?
This is open to personal interpretation… Here at Boomerangz, we think life is for enjoying experiences and spending time with friends and family. You need to grow and evolve as a person and you will feel a strong sense of self-worth. Do what you love, with the people you love, whenever you can.

My bases wore out! Is this normal?
Congratulations! You’ve worn your bases out! A great achievement! While this shouldn’t happen too soon it is a sign that you love wearing them. Due to the rubber material of our products they will suffer from wear and tear from every footstep you take and being exposed to the elements. There is a fine line between having the rubber soft and comfortable – wears out quicker – or really really hard and lasts longer. We aim in between so they are soft, comfortable and mould to the shape of your foot. Often the bases will start off harder but will soften up soon after wearing them.
We put our product through rigorous testing to get the perfect combination of rubber bounce back and comfort. (That’s not a pair of ours below by the way…)
Is your product made in an ethical way?
Our manufacturing partner’s facility is a family owned and run operation. High-standard workplace conditions and safety audits are a regular occurrence and they maintain good working conditions. There are no under-age workers and we go there several times a year for inspections. The product is made without any nasty additives such as Azo-dye colours, animal by-products (in the glue etc) and all products are lead free and vegan certified. Our material suppliers are members of 'amfori BSCI'. The amfori BSCI Code of Conduct draws on important international labour standards protecting workers’ rights such as International Labour Organization (ILO) conventions and declarations, the United Nations (UN) Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights as well as guidelines for multinational enterprises of the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD). Which retail stores can I find your cool, interchangeable and no blow-out flip flops in?
This is constantly changing as we are stocked in over 40 independent stores around Australia plus a couple of the well-known chain stores. Some won’t hold our product over winter and we can’t guarantee they have all the styles, sizes and colours. If you would like to know if our product is stocked in a store near you, simply contact us.
